The Lunare is a wall-mounted LED light built around a circular brass frame that suspends a clear blown glass dome, housing an integrated 5W 3000K LED with a frosted diffuser inside the glass. The brass ring measures 32cm in diameter and projects 21.8cm from the wall, with the glass dome oriented to cast light downwards onto the wall surface and floor below.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, staircases and living room alcoves where downward accent light is needed, the Lunare provides functional illumination without direct glare at eye level. The 5W LED output is sufficient for corridor navigation lighting or to highlight architectural features like panelling or dado rails. The frosted diffuser inside the clear glass softens the LED point source while the outer clear glass retains visual clarity, so the brass ring and internal diffuser remain visible when the light is off.

The brass frame has a warm metallic tone that sits between polished and brushed finishes, showing some surface reflection without high-gloss shine. The clear blown glass dome is hand-formed, so minor thickness variation and occasional micro-bubbles are characteristic of the manufacturing process. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations only — not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use. The circular wall plate measures approximately 10cm in diameter and conceals the wiring and fixing points behind the brass ring.

Is the Lunare dimmable?

The integrated 5W LED runs on standard mains voltage (AC 220-240V). Dimmer compatibility is not specified by Maytoni for this model — most integrated LED wall lights of this type are non-dimmable unless stated otherwise. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer switch if this is a requirement.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is only suitable for dry indoor locations with no exposure to moisture or steam. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher.

What is the light output like?

The 5W LED at 3000K provides warm white accent light directed downwards. It is designed as decorative and navigational lighting rather than primary room illumination — suitable for hallways, staircases and alcoves but not as the sole light source in a living room or kitchen.

How is the glass dome cleaned?

Switch off the mains supply before cleaning. Wipe the clear glass dome with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid sprays, polishes or abrasive materials that could scratch the glass or tarnish the brass frame.
