The Luna is a 2 light crystal wall light with a tubular black chrome frame, two upward-facing E14 candle bulb holders, and cascading clear and smoked Asfour crystal droplets hanging from curved arms. A central column built from alternating clear and smoked crystal beads runs through the backplate, and a black pull-cord switch dangles below the fitting for direct on-off control without needing a wall switch.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways and dining rooms where decorative wall lighting adds ambient fill or flanks a mirror, fireplace or sideboard, the Luna projects 200mm from the wall and spans 310mm wide, making it compact enough for alcoves or narrow corridor walls. The pull-cord switch allows the light to be controlled locally rather than relying on a distant wall switch, which is useful in bedrooms or locations where wiring to a switch is impractical. The fitting can be installed singly or in symmetrical pairs.

The black chrome finish provides a dark polished surface that contrasts with the faceted crystal droplets, which catch and refract light when the bulbs are on. The smoked crystal pendalogues add tonal variation against the clear crystal, creating a layered appearance rather than a uniform sparkle. Each droplet is precision-cut Asfour crystal, a lead-free material chosen for clarity and light dispersion. The fitting weighs 2kg and requires secure fixing into a solid wall or a wall plate rated for the load.

Optional clip-on crystal lampshades are available separately from Diyas to alter the look of the fitting if preferred, though the light is designed to be used with exposed candle bulbs. The fitting accepts up to 60W per E14 socket and is dimmable when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer on the circuit.

The Luna takes two E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulbs, each up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to suit the decorative style.

Is the pull-cord switch necessary or can it be wired to a wall switch?

The pull-cord switch is integrated into the fitting and cannot be removed. The light can still be wired to a standard wall switch on the circuit, in which case the pull-cord acts as a secondary on-off control. If you prefer not to use the pull-cord, simply leave it in the 'on' position and control the light via the wall switch.

Can the Luna be dimmed?

Yes, when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit. The pull-cord switch itself is not dimmable — it only provides on-off control. Dimming must be controlled via a wall-mounted dimmer.

What's the difference between the clear and smoked crystal?
