Description

The Lumis is a downward-facing outdoor wall light with a conical metal shade in an antique brass finish, suspended on a curved arm from a shaped wall plate. The fitting is built from die-cast aluminium with a clear acrylic diffuser set into the underside of the shade, housing a single E27 bulb (sold separately). The IP43 rating allows installation in sheltered outdoor positions where direct water jets are not expected.

Designed for porches, covered doorways, sheltered patios and garage entrances, the Lumis casts downward light through the acrylic diffuser to illuminate thresholds and pathway edges without glare. The 460mm projection brings the shade well clear of the wall, so the light pattern spreads outward rather than washing straight down the wall surface. The arm connects to the wall via a backplate approximately 280mm in height, sized to suit typical UK brick coursing.

The antique brass finish is applied over the die-cast aluminium frame to give a darkened, aged appearance rather than the bright yellow tone of polished brass. This darker finish suits traditional cottage exteriors, brick-built period properties and rustic garden settings where a heritage appearance is preferred. The clear acrylic diffuser protects the bulb from dust and light rain while allowing the full light output through, making it compatible with warm-white LED filament bulbs that mimic the appearance of traditional incandescent lamps.
