Description

The Lumira is a 600mm square-profile outdoor bollard light with a cast aluminium frame finished in coffee-brown powder coat and a white polycarbonate diffuser. The bollard takes a single GX53 bulb (sold separately) behind the diffuser, casting downward and horizontal light suitable for path marking, driveway edges and garden borders.

Designed for residential driveways, garden pathways and commercial landscapes, the Lumira sits on a square mounting plate that fixes to a paved or concrete surface. The 150mm square footprint keeps the bollard stable in exposed positions without needing a weighted base. The IP44 rating protects against rain and debris but does not allow full submersion or high-pressure washing.

The cast aluminium construction provides corrosion resistance in coastal and damp climates, while the powder-coated finish bonds to the metal for durability across seasonal temperature changes. The white polycarbonate diffuser softens the light output and hides the bulb from direct view, reducing glare for pedestrians walking past the bollard. The coffee-brown tone pairs with natural stone paving, timber decking and brick, and contrasts cleanly against pale render or white gravel.

The bollard takes a single GX53 bulb, sold separately. GX53 is a low-profile LED or CFL base typically used in shallow ceiling fittings and outdoor bollards. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED between 7-11W and 2700K-3000K for path lighting.

Can it be used in driveways?

Yes. The cast aluminium frame and IP44 rating make the Lumira suitable for driveway edges, but the bollard should be set back from the vehicle path to avoid impact. The mounting plate fixes to paved or concrete surfaces only — soft ground installations require a separately-cast concrete pad.

Is it dimmable?

The bollard itself is dimmable-compatible, but dimming depends on the bulb and the outdoor dimmer circuit being compatible with each other. GX53 LED bulbs vary in dimmer compatibility — check the bulb datasheet before pairing with a dimmer.

How is the coffee-brown finish maintained?

The powder-coated aluminium can be wiped down with a damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can scratch the finish. The coating is bonded to the metal and does not require re-sealing or painting.
