Description

The Luminous is an 81cm LED picture light with an integrated 18W 3000K LED strip housed behind an opal plastic diffuser, mounted on a chrome metal frame. The diffuser softens the LED output to remove hotspots and cast even warm light across the width of a canvas, print or photograph hung on the wall below.

Designed for artwork between 60-90cm wide, the Luminous mounts directly to the wall above the frame using concealed fixings, projecting 95mm from the wall surface once installed. The 81cm length covers most medium to large domestic artwork without light spilling beyond the frame edges. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry interior locations away from bathrooms, kitchens and outdoor settings.

The chrome finish is polished to a mirror-like reflectivity, pairing cleanly with modern and contemporary interiors where metal accents are already present. The metal housing provides a rigid structure that keeps the LED strip aligned with the artwork below, and dissipates heat from the 18W LED across the length of the fitting. The 3000K colour temperature sits at the warmer end of white light, rendering oil paintings, watercolours and prints with a slight amber cast that complements most domestic gallery walls.
