Description

The Luminis is a 60cm outdoor bollard light built from die-cast aluminium with a black powder-coated finish and a clear Pyrex glass diffuser. The fitting houses a single E27 bulb (sold separately) behind horizontal aluminium louvres inside the glass cylinder, directing light downwards onto pathways while preventing direct glare. The IP65 rating means the fitting is sealed against dust and protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction, making it suitable for driveways, garden pathways and patio edges.

Designed for residential gardens, hospitality outdoor spaces and commercial pathway lighting, the 60cm height provides ground-level orientation lighting without overwhelming planted borders or low garden walls. The bollard casts a pool of light approximately 2-3m in diameter depending on the bulb wattage chosen, with the louvred design preventing upward light spill that would affect bedroom windows or contribute to light pollution. The base plate is 155mm in diameter and requires fixing to a solid concrete or paving base using through-bolts or anchors.

The die-cast aluminium construction resists corrosion in coastal and high-humidity environments, while the black finish pairs with contemporary, industrial and minimalist garden schemes. Can it be installed on soil or grass?

No. The base plate requires fixing to a solid surface such as concrete, paving slabs or a dedicated foundation block. The bollard is not designed to be driven into soil and needs through-bolts or anchors to secure the 155mm base plate.

IP65 means the fitting is dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. It can withstand rain, garden sprinklers and hose-downs, making it suitable for driveways, pathways and patios. It is not submersible and should not be installed where it could be flooded or submerged.

How is the cable connected?
