Description
The Luminis is a 60cm outdoor bollard light with a die-cast aluminium body finished in anthracite grey, housing a single E27 bulb behind a cylindrical Pyrex glass diffuser. The IP65 rating protects the internal components from dust ingress and water jets, making the fitting suitable for year-round installation in UK gardens, driveways and patios.
Designed for pathway lighting, garden borders and driveway edges, the 60cm height positions the light source below eye level when standing, reducing glare while casting a pool of light approximately 2-3m in diameter depending on the bulb chosen. The bollard installs onto a concrete foundation or paving base using the internal fixing points, with the cable entering through the base and connecting to mains wiring buried underground or run through conduit. The E27 socket accepts any standard Edison screw LED, halogen or filament bulb up to the fitting's maximum wattage (see Specification table).
The die-cast aluminium construction resists corrosion and impact better than pressed steel or plastic alternatives, with the anthracite powder-coat finish providing UV resistance and abrasion protection. The Pyrex glass diffuser is heat-resistant and less prone to thermal shock than standard glass, tolerating the temperature cycling that occurs when rain hits a warm bollard. At 155mm diameter the Luminis has a compact footprint that works along narrow pathways without obstructing passage.
The bollard is dimmable when paired with a compatible E27 LED bulb and dimmer switch on the mains circuit. This allows light levels to be reduced for ambient evening lighting or raised for functional pathway illumination. The 5-year warranty covers manufacturing defects in the aluminium body and glass diffuser.

Frequently Asked
What does the IP65 rating mean?
IP65 means the fitting is fully dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. This makes the Luminis suitable for installation in gardens, driveways and patios where it will be exposed to rain, but not for direct submersion in water.
What bulb should I use?
The fitting takes a standard E27 Edison screw bulb. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-12W and 2700K-3000K for pathway and garden lighting. Check the Specification table for the maximum wattage rating before choosing a bulb.
How is the bollard installed?
The Luminis installs onto a concrete foundation or paving base using the internal fixing points accessible through the base of the bollard. The mains cable enters through the base and must be run underground in conduit or buried armoured cable to the nearest junction box or outdoor switch.
Can the height be adjusted?
No. The Luminis is a fixed 60cm height bollard. The height cannot be adjusted after installation.
