Description

The Lumara is a 1260mm linear suspension light with an integrated 20W LED module running the full length of a matt black aluminium body. The LED sits behind an opal acrylic diffuser that runs the length of the bar, casting 3000K warm white light downward and minimising glare. The cylindrical canopy mounts to a standard ceiling rose and the PVC-sleeved cable is height-adjustable on installation.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and office workstations where task lighting needs to cover a linear area rather than a single point, the 1260mm length suits tables and islands between 1400-1800mm long. The 15mm body height keeps the fixture low-profile when viewed from the side, making it suitable for rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights where a chunky fitting would feel intrusive. The IP20 rating confirms indoor-only use.

The matt black powder-coated aluminium finish absorbs reflections under daylight and pairs cleanly with black tapware, appliances and joinery in contemporary kitchens. The 20W LED output at 3000K provides functional task light without the cooler clinical tone of 4000K commercial fittings. The integrated LED is not dimmable and not user-replaceable — when the LED reaches end-of-life the entire fitting is replaced. Ideal Lux covers the fitting under a 5-year warranty.
