Description

The Luma is an 80cm outdoor bollard light constructed from powder-coated grey metal with a transparent Pyrex glass diffuser panel set into one face. The fitting houses two G9 bulbs (sold separately) behind the glass, directing light downwards and outwards to illuminate pathways, driveways and garden borders. The IP44 rating provides protection against solid objects above 1mm and water splashes from any direction, making the bollard suitable for exposed garden and patio positions.

Designed for driveways, long pathways, and perimeter garden lighting where taller bollards are needed to cast light over wider areas, the 80cm height positions the light source above typical border planting and ground-level shrubs. The bollard mounts on a surface plate fixed to a hard surface (paving, concrete, gravel over compacted base) and requires mains voltage wiring to be run to the base position. The rectangular head measures 100mm wide by 160mm projection, creating a directional light throw rather than 360° spread.

The powder-coated grey finish is a mid-tone neutral that sits between charcoal and light grey, pairing with both contemporary paving (limestone, porcelain) and traditional stone. The metal body resists rust and weathering under the powder coating, and the Pyrex glass withstands temperature fluctuation and impact better than standard glass. The G9 bulb fitting accepts halogen or LED capsule bulbs, with LED options typically providing 2-4W equivalent to 25-40W halogen output for pathway visibility without light pollution.
