Description

The Luma is an 80cm-tall outdoor bollard light constructed from powder-coated metal in an anthracite finish, with a clear Pyrex glass diffuser and dual G9 bulb fittings. The IP44 rating protects against rain and solid objects above 1mm, making the bollard suitable for garden pathways, driveways, commercial landscaping and residential patios where mains lighting is needed year-round.

Designed for path and driveway lighting, the 80cm height positions the light source above typical lawn borders and shrubbery, casting an even pool of light downward and forward without glare at eye level. The dual G9 bulbs (sold separately) can be dimmable LED capsules for variable output, or standard halogen where maximum brightness is needed. The Pyrex diffuser is heat-resistant borosilicate glass that tolerates the operating temperature of G9 halogen lamps without cracking.

The anthracite powder coat is a mid-tone charcoal grey that sits between matt black and lighter grey finishes, pairing comfortably with both dark-toned contemporary schemes and lighter rendered walls. The rectangular head section measures 100mm x 160mm and houses the bulbs behind the glass, while the slender column below reduces visual weight when multiple bollards are spaced along a path. Installation requires a weatherproof junction box below ground level and mains wiring run to the bollard position.
