Luga Table Lamp Recycled Glass Natural Wood - Polished Nickel

The Luga is a 514mm table lamp built around a recycled glass base with vertical facets, topped with a natural wood collar and polished nickel cap. The glass base shows a subtle green-tinted transparency that catches and refracts ambient light, while the wood collar sits as a warm-toned bridge between the organic glass and the metal hardware above. A 355mm ivory polycotton drum shade diffuses the light from a single E27 bulb (sold separately).

Designed for bedside tables, console tables and living room side tables, the Luga pairs ambient lighting with sculptural presence. The 355mm shade diameter provides enough light spread for reading at close range, while the faceted glass base adds visual interest when the lamp is off. The 514mm overall height suits standard bedside tables without blocking sightlines across the room.

The recycled glass shows slight tonal variation and occasional small bubbles inherent to reclaimed material, giving each lamp a slightly different character. The natural wood collar displays the grain and tonal variation of the timber section it was turned from, so no two collars match exactly. The ivory polycotton shade is handmade in the UK and provides a neutral backdrop that works with both warm and cool-toned interiors. The polished nickel cap, finial and harp hardware add a cooler metallic accent that balances the warmth of the wood and glass.

What bulb does the Luga take?

The lamp takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for bedside or living room use.

Does the recycled glass vary between lamps?

Yes. Each glass base is made from recycled material, so slight tonal variation, small bubbles and minor surface texture differences are normal. This is a characteristic of the reclaimed glass process, not a defect.

Is the shade removable for bulb changes?

Yes. The polycotton shade sits on a standard harp and finial fitting, allowing it to be lifted off for bulb replacement. The shade can also be replaced with other E27-compatible shades if preferred.

What's the base diameter and stability on different surfaces?

The glass base has a footprint of approximately 200mm diameter. The combined weight of the glass, wood and metal components gives the lamp enough stability for most bedside tables and console surfaces without needing additional weighting.
