Description

The Luella is a 559mm-diameter pendant light with a shallow conical black metal shade, a brushed brass centre column and four curved brass arms that each hold an E14 bulb beneath the shade. The black exterior contrasts with the warm brass interior, which reflects light downward onto dining tables or kitchen islands while the shade itself blocks direct glare from above.

Designed as a duo-mount fitting, the Luella can be installed either as a pendant (using the included 914mm stem for a maximum drop of 1144mm) or as a semi-flush ceiling light (230mm drop, no stem). This makes it adaptable to different ceiling heights and room types — pendant mode suits dining rooms and kitchen islands with standard 2.4m or higher ceilings, while semi-flush mode works in rooms with lower ceilings or where a closer-to-ceiling profile is preferred. The four-light configuration provides 160W maximum combined output (40W per E14 socket) when paired with suitable bulbs.

The black powder-coated steel shade measures 210mm in height and sits over a brass frame that includes four curved arms radiating from the central column. Each arm terminates in a downward-facing E14 lampholder, positioning the bulbs inside the shade so light bounces off the brass interior before being directed down. The combination of black exterior and brass interior creates a warm downlight effect without the harsh contrast of white-interior shades. The fitting weighs approximately 3.2kg and mounts to a standard UK ceiling rose via the included brass canopy.
