Description

This little ceramic star token comes in its own match keepsake box, a small and heartfelt way to tell someone they matter. The front carries the words "Lucky to have you in my life", with Lucky in flowing gold lettering and the rest in neat black capitals among tiny hearts, stars and flowers. The back has a soft multicoloured illustration of two figures arm in arm beneath a crescent moon, one holding a heart up to the sky. The star is white with a smooth, glossy finish and measures 5cm high, 5cm across and 1.6cm deep, so it sits comfortably in the palm of a hand.

Small as it is, it travels easily, slipping into a pocket, a purse or a dish on the dressing table as a reminder carried through the day. It can stand upright on its two lower points on a bedside table, desk or windowsill, or lie flat to show either face. The message is simple and warm, and we think it makes a lovely just-because gift for anyone you are glad to have close.

The star is ceramic and decorated on both faces, the gold lettering and the illustration standing out against the glossy white surface. Keep it indoors on a shelf or table where it will not be knocked, as a fall onto a hard floor could chip it. Dust it now and then with a soft dry cloth, or wipe it gently with a damp cloth and dry it straight away. When it is not out on display, the match keepsake box gives the token a safe place to rest, and because it comes boxed it is ready to give just as it is, perhaps with a card of your own.
