Lucia Crystal Wall Light - Burnished Silver

The Lucia is a 203mm square wall light built around a frame of sunflower-shaped Bauhinia crystals set in a burnished silver metal cage. A linen shade sits inside the crystal frame, backed by a glass bottom diffuser that softens the light from a single E14 bulb (sold separately, max 40W). The crystals catch and refract light when the bulb is on, creating movement across the wall and ceiling around the fitting.

Designed for hallways, bedroom sides, and flanking positions either side of mirrors or artwork, the Lucia provides mid-level ambient light rather than bright task illumination. The 114mm projection from the wall and compact 203mm square footprint suit narrower hallways and alcoves where a larger sconce would protrude too far. The linen shade inside the crystal cage prevents direct glare from the bulb while allowing the crystals themselves to become the visible element.

The burnished silver finish on the metal frame has a slightly aged, low-lustre appearance rather than the high shine of polished chrome, which softens the reflectivity and pairs comfortably with both warm-toned traditional interiors and cooler contemporary schemes. Each crystal element is individually set into the geometric lattice frame, and the sunflower cut pattern on each piece creates multiple facets that scatter light at different angles depending on viewing position.

What bulb does it take?

The Lucia takes a single E14 small Edison screw bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers pair this with a warm-white LED candle bulb between 4-6W and 2700K for soft ambient light.

How is the light diffused?

A linen shade sits inside the crystal frame, with a glass bottom diffuser beneath the bulb. This combination prevents direct glare from the bulb while allowing light to pass through the crystals and create scattered reflections on surrounding walls and ceilings.

What's the projection from the wall?

The fitting projects 114mm from the wall once installed, making it suitable for hallways and alcoves where space is limited. The compact square profile at 203mm x 203mm fits comfortably in narrower wall sections.

How are the crystals cleaned?

Each crystal element can be wiped gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the metal frame or using household sprays that may tarnish the burnished silver finish.
