Description

The Lucia is a 500mm table lamp with a frosted glass tube shade mounted on an arched polished chrome stem rising from a weighted dome base. A single G9 bulb (included) inside the frosted glass tube diffuses light in a soft, directional column, providing both task illumination when the shade is angled towards a surface and ambient glow when positioned vertically.

Designed for desks, bedside tables, console tables and sideboards, the Lucia's 100mm base diameter keeps the footprint compact while the arched stem allows the light to project over the edge of a surface without the base needing to sit at the very front. The frosted glass diffuser reduces glare from the G9 capsule, making the lamp comfortable for reading and close work. A polished chrome ring detail on the stem adds visual interest to the otherwise minimal silhouette.

The polished chrome finish on the stem and base provides a high-shine reflective surface that catches ambient light and pairs well with contemporary, minimalist and Scandinavian interiors. The frosted glass shade is a smooth cylinder with an angled top, giving the lamp a directional orientation even when the shade is fixed in place. At 1.9kg the lamp has enough weight to remain stable on most surfaces without being difficult to reposition. Is the lamp dimmable?

The lamp is dimmable when used with a dimmable G9 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The included Luxram bulb is dimmable. Check that your dimmer switch is rated for the bulb type before use.

Can the shade angle be adjusted?

The frosted glass shade is fixed to the arched stem at a set angle. The lamp cannot be repositioned or tilted after installation, but the arched stem design naturally directs light forward and downward from the base.

What surface area does the base need?

The dome base has a 100mm diameter, requiring a footprint of approximately 10cm square. The arched stem projects the shade forward by roughly 15cm from the base centre, so allow clearance for the full profile when positioning on narrow shelves or ledges.
