Description

The Lucent is a 9cm surface-mounted LED downlight with a cylindrical matt black aluminium body housing an integrated 25W 3000K LED. The fitting mounts directly to the ceiling surface without requiring a recess cut-out, making it suitable for solid ceilings, concrete soffits, and retrofits where cutting into the ceiling structure is not viable. The recessed lens sits within a black internal baffle that controls light spill and reduces glare when viewed from an angle.

Designed for accent lighting over kitchen worktops, reading areas, retail displays, and general task lighting in hallways and bathrooms (IP20 rating limits use to dry zones only), the Lucent delivers a fixed downward beam. The 3000K colour temperature produces a warm white light that suits residential and hospitality interiors without the cooler clinical tone of higher Kelvin LEDs. The compact 9cm diameter allows multiple fittings to be spaced at 1-1.5m centres for even coverage or clustered in groups of three to five over larger surfaces.

The aluminium body dissipates heat from the LED driver and chip, maintaining consistent light output over the rated lifespan. The matt black finish absorbs ceiling reflections and integrates cleanly into dark ceilings or provides contrast against lighter plaster.
