Description

The Lua is a 500mm diameter pendant light with three E27 bulb fittings housed beneath an ash grey pleated fabric shade. The shade sits on a curved metal frame finished in matching ash grey, with two arching arms that rise from the ceiling canopy to support the shade at opposite points. A frosted diffuser inside the shade sits below the three bulb holders, softening light before it passes through the fabric.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Lua pairs its substantial 500mm width with an adjustable drop of 600-1500mm, allowing the pendant to be set at the appropriate height for the room. The pleated fabric shade adds surface texture that becomes visible when the light is on, with soft ridges running vertically around the cylinder. The ash grey tone works in neutral, Scandinavian-influenced and contemporary interiors without introducing strong colour contrast.

The curved metal frame contributes to the overall form rather than simply suspending the shade — the two arms create an asymmetric support structure that gives the pendant a sense of movement when viewed from the side. The shade itself is 500mm wide, making it proportionate to dining tables of 1600-2000mm length or kitchen islands of similar scale.
