Description

The LTL-E is a linear track light running 15W from a three-phase 220-240V AC track, putting out up to 1500 lumens. It is colour selectable, switching between 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white and 6500K cool white, with output of 1350lm at warm white and 1500lm at the cooler tones. The asymmetric 130 degrees by 105 degrees beam spreads a wide, even wash rather than a tight spot, which suits run-along illumination of a surface below. In US terms this is a track head for a powered track system, clipping onto the conductors to draw both power and switching.

The slim 600mm body works well over retail displays, gallery walls, kitchen worktops and shelving runs where a continuous line of light is wanted. Because the beam is broad and asymmetric, several heads spaced along a track build a smooth band of light across a counter or display rather than separate pools. As a directional fitting it is best judged on throw and aim, not room coverage, so position heads to graze the surface you want lit. Heads can be added, removed or repositioned along the track as the layout changes.

Built with a polycarbonate body in a black finish, the head measures 600 by 35 by 65mm and weighs just 218g, so it loads the track lightly. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, damp areas and any outdoor location. The fitting is not dimmable and runs from the track supply, with no separate driver included as it takes mains voltage through the track. Rated for 50,000 hours with Ra 80 colour rendering, it mounts directly onto compatible three-phase track. Our range includes matching track and connectors to complete a run.

How does track lighting like this work?

The LTL-E clips onto a powered track that carries the mains supply, so the head draws power directly from the track rather than from its own cable. You can position multiple heads anywhere along the track and aim each one independently. This makes it easy to light several points from a single supply.

What track does it fit?

It is designed for three-phase track running at 220-240V AC. Make sure the track and adaptor match the three-phase standard before fitting. Single-circuit track is not compatible.

Can I add or move the heads later?

Yes. Heads slot onto the track and can be repositioned, added or removed as your layout changes, without rewiring. This is useful when display or worktop arrangements are updated.

How do I change the colour temperature?

The fitting is colour selectable across 3000K, 4000K and 6500K, set on the head itself. Choose 3000K for a warm look, 4000K for neutral light or 6500K for a crisp cool white. The selected tone applies to that individual head.
