Description

The Lovers Arboretum is a 29.6cm figurine cast in polyresin and hand-finished in an antique bronze patina, depicting a couple walking beneath a canopy of stylised trees. The couple stands on a curved platform that represents the ground beneath them, with three tall, textured tree trunks rising around their figures. The trees' foliage is formed from layered, organic shapes that create negative space and visual depth across the composition.

Designed as a decorative piece for mantels, shelves, console tables and bookcases, the figurine works in living rooms, bedrooms and hallways where figurative art or natural motifs sit comfortably within the interior. The matt black base adds 1-2cm of additional height and provides a stable platform for the resin sculpture. At 1kg, the piece has enough weight to remain secure on a shelf without requiring fixing.

The antique bronze finish is applied by hand after casting, giving each piece slight variation in the surface tone and texture. The rough, distressed surface treatment creates highlights and shadows that accentuate the detail in the tree bark textures and the figures themselves.
