Description

This wide black photo frame sets a single treasured picture in the centre of a broad white mount, with the word 'love' written above it in flowing black script. Beneath the opening, a smaller line of print reads 'a journey to take together', so the words and your photograph read as one. The frame is square and made of plastic. It measures 25.5cm high, 25.5cm across and 7.5cm deep, a generous depth that gives it the look of a box frame. It takes a 4 x 4in print, a neat square size that suits a favourite phone photograph.

The square shape and wide border give a small photograph real presence on a mantelpiece, sideboard, bookshelf or bedside table. An easel on the back lets it stand on its own, and a hanger at the top means it can go on a wall instead, so it suits a living room, hallway or bedroom equally well. The black and white palette sits happily with most schemes, from warm wood to pale painted walls. With its printed words, it is a lovely home for a photograph of the two of you, whether that is a recent snap or one from many years ago.

The frame is plastic with a black finish and a subtle grained texture to the moulding, and the clean white mount keeps the attention on your picture. Slip your print in from the back, set the easel, and it is ready for the shelf. To keep it looking its best, dust it with a soft dry cloth and, if needed, wipe it gently with a slightly damp cloth, keeping moisture away from the mount and your print. For a thoughtful gift, put a favourite print inside before you wrap it, so it is ready to stand on a shelf the moment it is opened.
