Description

This white photo frame carries the words Love of my life across the top in soft grey script, with a small printed bow sitting just beneath the picture opening. The face is a smooth, warm white plastic, framed by a fine gold edge around the outside and a second gold line around the opening, which gives the piece a neat, dressed look without feeling fussy. It takes a 6 x 4in photograph in portrait, and the frame itself measures 21cm tall, 16cm wide and 1.5cm deep, a size that sits comfortably on a shelf or bedside table without crowding it.

Because the words do so much of the talking, this is a frame for the photograph that means most: a favourite portrait, a candid moment from a day out, or a picture you return to again and again. It suits a bedroom dresser, a hallway console, a living room shelf or a desk at work, anywhere you want a small, personal reminder in sight. The white and gold palette sits easily with pale woods, soft neutrals and brass accents. As a gift it says a great deal with very little, and it is ready for whichever photograph you choose.

A stand at the back lets the frame sit upright on its own, so it needs no wall fixings, and the back is finished in gold with a black backing board behind the photograph. To keep it looking its best, dust it with a soft dry cloth, or wipe it with a lightly damp cloth and dry it straight away, avoiding harsh cleaners on the printed lettering. Choose a photograph with soft light, or a black and white print, and the gold edge and grey script will pick up its tones; wrapped with a ribbon, it makes a thoughtful present that feels finished before the picture goes in.
