Description

The Louvre is a 2-light wall light built around a rectangular graphite-finished metal frame with horizontal clear glass slats running across the front. Two E27 bulb holders sit inside the frame, visible through the glass slats, casting light forward and allowing the bulb filaments to become part of the visual design.

Designed for hallways, stairwells, living rooms and bedrooms where wall-mounted accent or task lighting is needed, the Louvre works particularly well in pairs flanking a feature wall or doorway. The horizontal glass slats direct light forward while breaking up glare from exposed filament bulbs, giving the fitting a louvred effect that softens direct sightlines to the bulbs without blocking output. The graphite finish is a mid-tone grey with a brushed texture that sits between polished black and raw steel.

The metal frame is fabricated from steel with welded corner joints, giving the fitting a solid 1.2kg weight that feels substantial on the wall. The clear glass slats are individually set into the frame and create a layered depth effect when the light is on, casting striped shadow patterns onto the wall behind. The fitting accepts any standard E27 bulb up to 60W per socket (sold separately), so pairing it with vintage Edison-style filament bulbs or squirrel-cage LEDs emphasises the industrial aesthetic.
