The Losessa is a four-light linear pendant: a long black ceiling bar with four slim black cylindrical shades hanging from it on fine black cords. Each shade is cut away at the front of its lower end in a tall arch, revealing a warm brown wood grain inside, so the light catches the wood as it falls. It is made from steel and wood in black and brown, and measures 92.5cm long, 6cm wide and 110cm high overall. Each shade takes a GU10 bulb rated at 4.5W and giving 345lm, so the four together cast a focused, downward light. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in a dry room.

Where it really earns its place is over a dining table.
