Description

The Los 176 is a white aluminium LED wall light combining a directional reading spot with an integrated backlight, both controlled independently. The 130mm-square backplate houses a 9W 3000K integrated LED system split between a swivelling cylindrical spotlight and a rectangular backlight panel that casts warm light onto the wall behind the fitting.

Designed for bedside reading, hallways, and living room accent lighting, the Los 176 allows the spotlight to be angled towards a book or seating position while the backplate provides indirect ambient light to soften shadows. The twin rocker switches on the lower backplate let you run the spotlight alone for task lighting, the backlight alone for ambient wash, or both together for combined output. The 3000K colour temperature produces a warm white light that sits comfortably in residential settings without the clinical cast of cooler LEDs.

The aluminium construction is finished in a smooth white powder coat that pairs with white or pale walls to minimise visual presence. The IP20 rating limits the Los 176 to dry indoor locations — suitable for bedrooms, hallways and living rooms but not bathrooms or outdoor applications. The 65mm projection from the wall keeps the spotlight head clear of most headboards and furniture, while the 130mm square footprint covers a standard single-gang back box aperture for straightforward installation on plasterboard or masonry.

Can the spotlight and backlight be controlled separately?

Yes. The Los 176 has two rocker switches on the lower backplate, one for the directional spotlight and one for the backlight panel. You can run either light independently or both together.

Is the spotlight adjustable?

The cylindrical spotlight head swivels on a ball joint, allowing it to be angled towards a reading position, desk surface or seating area. The backlight is fixed and casts light onto the wall behind the fitting.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating restricts the Los 176 to dry indoor locations only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor use.

What back box or mounting does it require?
