Description
The Los 176 is a 140mm round wall light with an integrated 9W LED module, combining a directional spotlight with a backlight ring on a white aluminium disc. The spotlight head swivels on its mount, allowing the beam to be directed up, down, or across a wall surface, while the backlight ring casts a soft halo around the disc itself. Both light sources run at 3000K warm white and can be operated together or independently depending on the switch configuration.
Designed for task and accent lighting in hallways, kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms, the Los 176 provides directional light where needed without requiring a separate reading lamp or desk light. The swivel mechanism allows the spotlight to illuminate a mirror, a worktop, a bedside table or a framed picture, while the backlight adds ambient fill to the room. The 65mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting compact on narrow hallways and smaller rooms.
The white powder-coated aluminium finish suits modern, Scandinavian and minimalist interiors where neutral tones dominate. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor use only — it is not suitable for bathrooms without additional splash protection. The integrated LED eliminates the need for bulb replacement, with the 9W module providing approximately 720 lumens combined output across both the spotlight and backlight ring.

Frequently Asked
Can the spotlight and backlight be controlled separately?
The Los 176 has dual LED sources — a directional spotlight and a backlight ring. Whether they can be operated independently depends on the switch wiring during installation. With a standard single-gang switch both light sources turn on together. A double-gang switch setup would allow separate control.
Is it suitable for bathrooms?
The IP20 rating means the fitting is not splash-proof and should not be installed in bathroom zones 1 or 2 where it could be exposed to water spray. It can be used in zone 3 (more than 60cm from a bath or shower) or in a powder room with no shower.
Can the spotlight head be angled?
Yes. The spotlight swivels on its mount, allowing the beam to be directed up, down, left or right. This makes the fitting useful for task lighting where the light needs to be aimed at a specific surface or object.
What is the combined light output?
The 9W LED module produces approximately 720 lumens total across both the spotlight and backlight ring. This is enough for task lighting or accent lighting but not sufficient as the sole light source in a room larger than 8-10m².
