Lori keeps things quiet overhead: a round satin nickel plate, 15cm across, with a slim curved trapezium shade beneath it in an iridescent finish that shifts as you move past. The shade tapers gently, narrower at the top than at its mouth, so the light drops downwards while the surface itself picks up whatever daylight is about.
