Description

Three clear shades, tapered like a wine glass, sit beneath a round satin nickel fitting that stays tight against the ceiling. Because the shades are clear, the lamps are part of the look, so choose them with care: we would fit neat LED globes here, or decorative filament lamps where you want the light to sparkle. Each shade takes an E27 lamp of up to 20W. Dimming is possible, though it needs suitable lamps and a dimmer switch, neither of which comes with the fitting.

The 40cm spread and the shallow depth make it a good answer where a hanging light would be a nuisance: hallways and landings, a bedroom under a low ceiling, a home office, or above a breakfast table. Spread across that width, the lamps give a broad, even wash rather than a single bright spot, which is why we suggest it for through-rooms and long corridors. It suits anyone who wants a little decorative detail overhead without losing head height.

The satin nickel has a soft, low shine that keeps the metalwork quiet against a white ceiling, and the clear shades let the ceiling colour read straight through them. Clear shades show dust and finger marks sooner than opal ones, so wipe them with a barely damp cloth once the fitting is cold and dry them off, keeping moisture away from the lampholders. It carries a one year warranty, and lamps are supplied separately.
