Lori 3 Light Trapezium Pendant Light 40cm Amber - Polished Chrome

Three slim curved shades in amber hang from a round polished chrome frame that measures 40cm across, each one tapering to a narrow trapezium profile with a soft outward curve. Amber warms whatever passes through it, so the light lands somewhere between honey and toffee rather than plain white. The chrome is polished bright, which keeps the fitting looking light for its size and picks up the colour of the shades where the two meet. The drop adjusts, so it can sit close and neat or run longer where a lower hang suits the room.

It works best where light needs spreading across a length: over a dining table, along a kitchen island, or in a wide hallway where a smaller fitting would leave the ends dim. The adjustable drop makes it as workable under a tall ceiling as in a standard room. Each holder takes an E27 lamp, and we would choose an LED suited to the shade so the amber reads evenly. Dimming is possible with compatible lamps and a separate dimmer, worth planning if it hangs over a table you eat at.

Construction is straightforward: a chrome-finished frame carrying the shades, an earthed fitting for a household mains supply and suited to dry rooms indoors. With the power off and the lamps cold, wipe the amber with a dry cloth and give the chrome a gentle buff, keeping polishes and abrasives away from both. It carries a one year warranty. The same slim curved trapezium shade appears on flush fittings elsewhere in the range, in polished chrome and in antique gold, so a landing or hallway can be matched to the room this hangs in. Lamps are not included.

What lamps does it take?

Three E27 lamps, up to 20W each. An LED is the sensible choice, picked to suit the shade so the amber colour looks even.

How far down does it hang?

The drop is adjustable from 270mm to 2270mm, which covers everything from a low ceiling to a stairwell hang.

How wide is it?

The round frame is 400mm in diameter, which sits comfortably over a table or island without crowding the space.

Can it be dimmed?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable lamps and a compatible dimmer. Neither the lamps nor a dimmer comes with it.

Is it suitable for a bathroom?

No. It is rated for dry indoor rooms only, so keep it to living spaces, kitchens, dining rooms and hallways.

How should the amber shades be cleaned?

Switch off at the wall and let everything cool, then dust with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid sprays and cream cleaners, which can dull both the amber and the chrome.
