Description

The Loretello is a round LED flush ceiling light in black, 35cm across and only 7.5cm high, so it sits neatly against the ceiling and suits rooms where a pendant would hang too low. The body is plastic and steel, with a black centre disc framed by a white diffuser ring, and the light glows outward through that ring for an even, gentle spread. The LED is integrated, so there are no bulbs to buy or change, and it draws 12W while giving 1,440lm. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms.

Its slim profile and soft ring of light make it a good choice for a living room, bedroom, hallway or home office, anywhere you want even everyday light from a fitting that stays discreet. The colour temperature adjusts from a warm 2700K to a cool 6500K, so the same ceiling light can give a cosy, relaxed glow in the evening and a crisper, brighter white for reading or working during the day. Against a pale ceiling, the black finish draws a neat, graphic circle that sits comfortably in modern and monochrome rooms alike.

The light is controlled by a remote control, which comes in the box and takes a CR2032 battery. It is dimmable and the colour temperature is adjustable, so you can set the mood from your chair. There is no switch on the fitting itself; it is switched at the wall. It runs on 220-240V mains and, as a wired-in light, should be installed by a qualified electrician. The installation instructions come as a download, and the packed weight is 1.433KG. Our practical tip: keep the remote somewhere handy, because it is how you move between settings.

Frequently Asked

Can the Loretello go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means indoors and dry rooms only, so we would choose it for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and home offices rather than a bathroom.

Does it come with a remote control?

Yes. A remote control comes in the box, and it controls the light. The remote takes a CR2032 battery.

Can I change the colour of the light?

Yes. The colour temperature adjusts from a warm 2700K to a cool 6500K, so you can move between a cosy evening glow and a crisp daylight white.

Is the Loretello dimmable?

Yes, it is dimmable. The integrated LED draws 12W and gives 1,440lm, so there is plenty of light at full brightness and a softer glow when dimmed.

How big is the ceiling light?

It is 35cm across and 7.5cm high, so it sits close to the ceiling, which suits rooms with lower ceilings where a pendant would hang too low.

Is there a switch on the fitting?

There is no switch on the fitting itself, so it is switched at the wall, with the remote control handling the light from there.
