Description

The Loop is a 1 light wall light built around a sweeping satin nickel arm that curves from the circular wall mount to hold a rounded glass sphere. The glass is frosted with etched horizontal bands that give the sphere a layered, opal-stripe appearance when lit. An integrated rocker switch is built into the wall mount, allowing the light to be turned on and off without needing a separate wall switch.

Designed for bedside positions, hallway lighting and living room accent walls, the Loop provides soft ambient light through the frosted glass diffuser. The 170mm projection from the wall keeps the glass sphere clear of furniture and head-height obstructions, while the compact 100mm width makes it suitable for narrower wall spaces between wardrobes or above side tables. The integrated switch is particularly useful in bedrooms where the light needs to be controlled from the bedside, or in hallways where adding a wired wall switch would be impractical.

The satin nickel finish on the metal arm and mount provides a low-sheen metallic surface that sits between polished chrome and brushed steel in tone. The glass sphere houses a single G9 bulb (sold separately), which is dimmable when paired with a dimmable G9 LED and a suitable dimmer on the circuit. The light weighs 0.60kg once fitted, making it suitable for standard plasterboard walls with appropriate fixings.

What bulb does it take?

The Loop takes a single G9 bulb, sold separately. Most users pair this with a G9 LED bulb between 3-5W for ambient bedroom or hallway lighting. The fitting is dimmable when a dimmable G9 LED is used with a compatible dimmer on the circuit.

How does the integrated switch work?

A rocker switch is built into the circular wall mount. Pressing the switch toggles the light on and off without needing to use a wall switch elsewhere in the room. This is particularly useful for bedside installations where the light needs to be controlled from the bed.

What is the projection from the wall?

The fitting projects 170mm from the wall at its furthest point, where the glass sphere sits. The wall mount itself is 100mm wide, so the light occupies a compact footprint suitable for narrower wall spaces between furniture.
