Description

These wooden bookends bring Tweety and Sylvester, two favourite Looney Tunes characters, to your shelves in a cheerful blue finish. Each bookend is an L-shaped stand with a flat base and a tall upright, and a cut-out figure set against it. On one, Tweety stands with hands on hips, all yellow with wide blue eyes and big orange feet. On the other, Sylvester leans back against the upright with arms folded and one foot kicked out, in black and white with a red nose. LOONEY TUNES is printed across the front of each base, and the base tops carry the characters' names in script beside a row of line drawings of each of them. The bookends measure 15.5cm tall, 12cm wide and 10cm deep.

Stand one at each end of a row of books and Tweety and Sylvester keep watch from either side, holding paperbacks, picture books and annuals upright. They suit a bookshelf, a desk or a deep windowsill, and they look just as at home in a study or home office as on a living room or bedroom shelf. The blue and yellow tones sit happily beside bright, playful decor, while the crisp black and white of Sylvester lifts a plain white shelf.
