Description

The Looker is a 66cm 3-light chandelier built from matt white metal shades on adjustable pivots, with beech wood detailing at each joint and a central hub. Each of the three shades houses an E27 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately) and can be tilted and angled independently on its pivot point, allowing light to be directed towards specific areas or grouped for ambient coverage.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living room centres where adjustable task and ambient lighting is needed, the Looker suits ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. The drop is adjustable between 470mm and 700mm on installation, allowing the chandelier to be set at the appropriate height above a surface. The 660mm spread covers a dining table or island up to 1.8m in length without overwhelming the space.

The matt white powder-coated metal finish on the shades gives a soft, low-reflectance surface that pairs cleanly with Scandinavian, mid-century and contemporary interiors. The beech wood detailing at the pivot points and central hub adds warmth and contrasts the industrial metal structure, softening the overall appearance. The braided cable and exposed fixing at the ceiling rose contribute to the technical, engineered aesthetic. At 2kg total weight, the chandelier fits standard UK ceiling roses without requiring additional support.

The chandelier is dimmable when paired with dimmable E27 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch, allowing light levels to be adjusted from full task brightness to low ambient warmth. The white interior of each shade reflects and diffuses light efficiently, reducing glare while maintaining output.

What bulbs does the Looker take?

The chandelier takes three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for dining or living room use. The fitting accepts any E27 bulb up to the standard wattage limit.

Can the shades be adjusted after installation?

Yes. Each of the three shades pivots independently on a beech-detailed joint, allowing them to be angled upwards for ambient wash light, downwards for task lighting, or at varying angles to direct light where needed. The pivots hold position once set.

Is it dimmable?

The chandelier is dimmable when fitted with dimmable E27 bulbs and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. Bulb and dimmer compatibility should be checked before installation. Not all LED bulbs dim smoothly with all dimmer models.

What drop height works best above a dining table?

For a dining table, the chandelier typically sits 700-800mm above the table surface. With the adjustable drop of 470-700mm from the ceiling rose, this works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. Lower ceilings can still accommodate the fitting if the drop is shortened during installation.
