Description

The Look is a 500mm pendant light built around a flattened ellipsoid shade of blown white glass, acid-etched to diffuse light evenly in all directions. A white powder-coated metal frame at the top conceals the lamp holder and suspension hardware, with three steel cables running up to a matching white ceiling rose. The single E27 bulb inside the glass (sold separately) is fully enclosed, so the shade itself becomes the light source.

Designed for open-plan living areas, dining tables and bedroom centres, the Look provides ambient rather than directional lighting. The 500mm diameter suits ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, with the adjustable steel cables allowing the pendant to be lowered 400-600mm from the ceiling depending on the room proportions. The cable stoppers lock at the chosen height without tools, making installation straightforward on standard UK ceiling roses.

The blown glass diffuser is acid-etched on the interior surface, softening the light output and hiding the bulb shape when viewed from any angle. The white metal canopy and frame match the glass finish, giving a monochromatic profile that pairs cleanly with white or light neutral ceilings. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only. The pendant is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and dimmable E27 LED bulb.
