Description

The Londontowne is a 297mm-high outdoor wall lantern with a weathered chestnut composite frame, clear seeded glass panels on three sides, and a pyramidal metal roof with turned finial. The lantern houses a single E27 bulb (sold separately) behind the seeded glass, which breaks up the light source into scattered points and softens the output across the front of a property.

Designed for front porches, covered entrances, garage flanks and garden gates where traditional styling is preferred over contemporary minimalism, the Londontowne pairs an IP44 weather rating with the appearance of aged metal. The composite construction resists corrosion, warping and UV degradation more effectively than painted steel or cast aluminium, while the weathered chestnut finish replicates the patina of aged bronze without the weight or maintenance demands of real metal.

The 206mm projection from the wall gives enough clearance to avoid the lantern sitting flat against brickwork, allowing light to spill behind the fitting as well as forward. The seeded glass texture hides the bulb shape when lit and adds visual depth to the panels, with each bubble and imperfection in the glass casting its own micro-shadow. The lantern weighs approximately 1.8kg and mounts to a standard outdoor backplate with stainless fixings (included).
