Description

The Loewe is a 66cm diameter five-light chandelier built around a central column of cut glass bubbles, from which five curved antique brass arms extend outward. Each arm terminates in an E14 bulb holder fitted with a cream organza shade that diffuses light through a pleated translucent fabric. The antique brass finish shows a warmer, slightly oxidised tone compared to polished or brushed brass.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above, the Loewe provides ambient light distributed across five points rather than concentrated in a single central source. The 740mm minimum drop suits standard ceiling heights, while the adjustable cable extends to 2240mm for double-height spaces or vaulted ceilings. The curved arms spread the light laterally, making the fitting suitable for rectangular dining tables up to 1800mm long.

The cut glass column at the centre refracts incoming daylight and reflects the upward glow from the five bulbs when lit, adding visual depth to the fitting's core. The cream organza shades soften the direct output from the E14 bulbs and reduce glare when viewed from below, which is important for a chandelier hung at typical dining-height positions of 700-900mm above the table surface. The 7.4kg weight requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or reinforced back plate.
