Description

The Loewe is a 550mm diameter pendant light with three E27 fittings set within soft bronze pleated organza shades, suspended from an antique brass circular canopy and frame. Each shade is a tapered drum with vertical pleating across the organza, creating fine linear texture across the fabric surface. The antique brass frame includes the ceiling canopy, the central suspension rod, and three curved arms that hold the shades in a symmetrical arrangement around the central axis.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living room positions with ceiling heights above 2.4m, the Loewe provides ambient and task light depending on bulb choice. The adjustable drop ranges from 600mm to 2000mm, allowing the pendant to be set 700-800mm above a dining surface or higher for hall and stairwell installations. The three E27 sockets accept any standard Edison screw bulb up to the wattage limit stated in the Specification table (sold separately), with dimmer compatibility dependent on bulb type and dimmer model.

The soft bronze organza diffuses light from the three bulbs, softening glare and casting warm indirect light outward and downward. The pleated construction creates fine shadow lines across the shade when lit, adding visual texture to the emitted glow. The antique brass finish on the metalwork shows a darker, warmer patina than polished or brushed brass, with tonal variation across the surface that pairs well with traditional, transitional and warm-toned interiors. At 4.1kg the pendant requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced ceiling rose.
