Description

The Loewe is a single-arm wall light with a built-in switch, an antique brass finish, a bubbled glass collar detail and a cream organza shade. The brass arm curves up from an oval backplate, passing through a cluster of bubbled clear glass spheres before reaching the E14 bulb fitting inside the shade. The switch sits on the backplate for direct on-off control without needing to reach a wall switch.

Designed for bedside positions, reading corners and hallway accent lighting, the Loewe provides soft ambient light through the cream organza shade while the brass and glass detail add decorative presence when the light is off. The 190mm projection from the wall suits positions above side tables, next to beds or along corridors where the shade sits clear of the wall without dominating the space. The built-in switch makes it practical for bedside use where reaching a wall switch would be inconvenient.

The antique brass finish has a warm, slightly aged tone that pairs well with traditional and transitional interiors, while the bubbled glass detail gives the fitting a sculptural mid-point between the backplate and shade. The cream organza diffuses light evenly without glare, creating a warm pool of illumination suitable for reading or ambient evening lighting. The fitting accepts any standard E14 bulb up to the rated wattage (sold separately) and is dimmable when paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer circuit.

Does the bulb come with the fitting?

No. The Loewe takes one E14 small Edison screw bulb (sold separately). Most users pair this with a warm-white LED candle bulb between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K for bedside or hallway use.

Is the switch on the wall or on the fitting?

The switch is built into the backplate of the fitting itself. This allows you to turn the light on and off directly at the wall light without needing to reach a separate wall switch, which is particularly useful for bedside positions.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, but only when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer circuit. The fitting itself supports dimming, but both the bulb and the circuit must also be dimmable for this to work.

What is the bubbled glass detail?
