Description

The Loewe is a single-arm wall light with an integrated switch, pairing an antique brass backplate and arm with a central bubbled glass accent and a white organza shade. The brass arm curves upward from an oval backplate, passing behind a cluster of clear bubbled glass spheres before supporting the conical fabric shade that houses a single E14 bulb (sold separately).

Designed for bedrooms, hallways and sitting rooms where direct control at the fitting is useful, the integrated rocker switch sits on the backplate, allowing the light to be turned on and off without needing a separate wall switch circuit. This makes the Loewe particularly suited to bedside positions, reading corners beside armchairs, or hallway runs where adding a wall switch would require additional wiring. The 190mm projection keeps the shade clear of the wall, and the 430mm height fits comfortably between a bed headboard and ceiling.

The antique brass finish has a warm, slightly aged tone with subtle tonal variation across the metal surface, pairing well with warm-toned timbers, warm greys and classic interiors. The white organza shade diffuses light into a soft ambient glow rather than a direct downward beam, reducing glare when the fitting is positioned at head height. The Loewe takes a single E14 small Edison screw bulb, sold separately. Most users pair this with a 4-6W warm-white LED candle bulb at 2700K for bedside or ambient use.

Is the integrated switch useful for bedside placement?

Yes. The rocker switch on the backplate allows the light to be controlled directly at the fitting, so it can be turned on and off without reaching for a wall switch or pull cord. This makes it particularly practical as a bedside wall light where the switch needs to be within arm's reach from a pillow.
