The Llamas is a 96cm diameter chandelier with fifteen curved metal arms finished in gloss white, each arm terminating in a G4 bulb fitting. The arms vary in length and arc at different angles from a central column, creating a sculptural form that reads differently from every viewing position. The gloss finish reflects ambient light and multiplies the output from the bulbs themselves, adding brightness to the space beyond the direct light.

Designed for high-ceiling rooms with a minimum ceiling height of 3m, the Llamas suits formal dining rooms, entrance halls, open-plan living areas and hotel lobbies where a large-scale fitting is needed. The drop is adjustable between 770mm and 1250mm on installation, allowing the chandelier to be set at the appropriate height above a dining table (typically 750-850mm clearance) or to float higher in a double-height space. The 12.1kg weight requires a ceiling rose rated for the load and a secure fixing into joists or concrete.

The fifteen G4 fittings take capsule bulbs up to 10W each (sold separately). Diyas specify that this chandelier is not compatible with LED or CFL bulbs — halogen G4 capsules are required for correct operation. The chandelier is dimmable when paired with a trailing-edge dimmer, allowing output to be varied from full brightness for entertaining to softer ambient levels for everyday use. The white gloss finish pairs with both contemporary white interiors and acts as a contrast piece in darker or richly-coloured rooms.
