Description

The Linear is a 600mm surface-mounted LED track light with an integrated 12W 3000K LED module housed in an extruded aluminium profile finished in black with a white diffuser panel. The lighting element fixes magnetically to the track channel, allowing it to be repositioned along the length or removed entirely for cleaning or reconfiguration without tools.

Designed for residential and light commercial spaces where directional or accent lighting is needed without recessed ceiling works, the Linear mounts directly to plasterboard or solid ceilings with a 15mm projection from the surface. The 600mm length suits typical room widths of 3-4m, providing task lighting over kitchen worktops, accent lighting along hallway runs, or directional light in home offices. The dimmable LED works with most leading-edge and trailing-edge dimmers to adjust output from full brightness down to a low glow.

The black aluminium track contrasts against white ceilings while the white diffuser panel softens the LED output and reduces glare when viewed from below. The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light comparable to traditional halogen, suiting living areas, bedrooms and dining spaces where cooler daylight tones would feel clinical. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations away from moisture.

Can the light module be repositioned on the track?

Yes. The LED module fixes magnetically to the aluminium channel, so it can be slid along the 600mm length or removed entirely without tools. This allows adjustment after installation or cleaning of the diffuser panel.

Is this suitable for bathroom use?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is only suitable for dry indoor locations. It cannot be used in bathrooms, shower rooms or other areas subject to moisture.

What dimmer compatibility does it have?

The integrated LED is dimmable and works with most leading-edge and trailing-edge dimmers designed for LED loads. Test compatibility with your specific dimmer model before final installation if dimming is required.

How is it installed on the ceiling?

The aluminium track mounts directly to plasterboard or solid ceilings using screws and fixings (supplied). The 15mm projection from the ceiling surface includes the track depth and diffuser panel. Electrical connection is made at one end of the track.
