Description

The Line is a 78cm semi-flush LED ceiling light built around five overlapping rectangular frames in black-finished aluminium, each outlined with an integrated LED strip. The frames intersect at different angles on a central mounting plate, creating an asymmetric geometric composition that sits 8cm below the ceiling. The integrated 78W LED produces 3000K-4000K light depending on the control setting, with the acrylic diffuser inside each frame dispersing the light evenly across the room.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above where a traditional pendant would hang too low, the Line provides ambient light without occupying vertical space. The semi-flush mount suits living rooms, dining areas, and bedrooms in contemporary homes, as well as commercial reception areas and corridors. The 67cm x 78cm footprint covers a floor area of approximately 12-16m² with general illumination, though additional task lighting may be needed for reading or detailed work.

The black aluminium frames provide a defined edge that contrasts cleanly against white or light-toned ceilings, anchoring the fixture visually without overwhelming the space. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations. Is this dimmable?

The specification table lists the fitting as non-dimmable, despite the product name referencing dimming. The integrated LED may not be compatible with standard dimmer switches. Contact us to confirm compatibility before pairing with a dimmer circuit.

What ceiling height is needed?

The fitting sits 8cm below the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above. For lower ceilings, the fixture will still provide ambient light but may feel visually closer to occupants standing beneath it.

What room size does it suit?

The 78W LED output provides general ambient lighting for rooms of approximately 12-16m² floor area. Larger rooms may benefit from additional wall lights or floor lamps for task lighting in reading or work zones.

Can it be installed on sloped ceilings?

The fixture is designed for horizontal ceiling installation. Sloped ceiling mounting would require an adapter plate to level the fitting, which is not supplied with the product. Consult a qualified electrician before attempting installation on non-horizontal surfaces.
