Description

The Limo is a 62mm recessed outdoor brick light with a black aluminium housing, an integrated 3W 3000K LED, and an IP65 rating for full dust protection and water jet resistance. The light sits flush with external walls, paving or steps, with only a black circular faceplate and a frosted ring diffuser visible once installed.

Designed for pathways, steps, garden walls and driveways where low-level accent lighting is needed after dark, the Limo provides a soft wash of warm white light through the frosted ring diffuser without creating glare at eye level. The recessed installation means no projection from the wall surface, reducing the risk of damage from foot traffic or garden equipment. The 3W output is sufficient for wayfinding and safety lighting on residential paths and commercial walkways.

The IP65 rating protects the LED module and driver from rain, hose-down cleaning and outdoor dust exposure, making the Limo suitable for year-round outdoor installation in the UK climate. The black powder-coated aluminium housing resists corrosion and fading under UV exposure. The 62mm diameter requires a cut-out in brick, block or render during installation, typically fitted into a standard UK single-gang back box depth or masonry void.

The integrated LED runs on AC 100-240V mains, removing the need for external transformers or drivers in most installations. The 3000K colour temperature provides warm white light that sits comfortably in residential and hospitality settings without the clinical tone of cooler LEDs.

IP65 provides complete protection against dust ingress and protection against water jets from any direction. The Limo can be installed in exposed outdoor locations including garden walls, driveways and paths, and will withstand rain, hosing down and typical UK weather conditions year-round.

What depth of wall void is needed for installation?

The Limo requires a 62mm diameter cut-out and approximately 60-70mm depth behind the wall surface to accommodate the housing and wiring. It typically fits into a standard single-gang back box depth or a masonry void drilled into brick or block.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED module is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000-30,000 hours of operation, which equates to 8-10 years of typical evening use.

Can it be installed in paving or decking?

The Limo is designed primarily for vertical wall installation. While the IP65 rating provides water resistance, installing flush with horizontal surfaces like paving or decking risks water pooling on the diffuser and may void the warranty unless specifically supported by the installation manual.
