Description

The Lily is a 5-light chandelier with scrolled metalwork hand-finished in a deep bronze patina, paired with smoked cut glass droplets suspended from the arms and central column. Five E14 candle bulbs (sold separately) sit on upward-facing drip pans, each positioned at the end of a curved metal arm that sweeps outward from the central stem. The metalwork references lily leaves and botanical forms without literal representation.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Lily provides ambient light across a 720mm diameter spread. The maximum drop of 1510mm is adjustable on installation using the supplied chain, allowing the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or 2m+ above floor level in a hallway. The chandelier can also be converted to semi-flush configuration for rooms with lower ceilings, reducing the minimum drop to 645mm when fitted without chain.

The bronze patina is applied by hand, so each piece shows slight variation in tonal depth and the way the finish sits in the recesses of the scrollwork. The smoked glass droplets are facet-cut to catch and refract light when the bulbs are on, adding movement to the static metalwork. The combined metal frame and glass give the fitting a substantial presence suitable for rooms 4m+ in width or length, without overwhelming smaller dining spaces when hung at the correct height.

What bulbs does the Lily take?

The chandelier takes five E14 small Edison screw (SES) candle bulbs, each rated up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K for ambient dining lighting.

Can it be fitted to lower ceilings?

Yes. The chandelier can be converted to semi-flush configuration by removing the chain, reducing the minimum drop to 645mm. This suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2-2.4m where a full drop would hang too low.

How is the drop adjusted?

The chandelier is supplied with chain that allows adjustment between 645mm and 1510mm total drop. Excess chain is removed during installation and concealed within the ceiling canopy. The cable runs through the chain links.

Does the bronze patina vary between pieces?

Yes. The patina is applied by hand, so each chandelier shows slight variation in tonal depth and the way the finish sits in the scrollwork detail. This is a feature of the hand-finishing process, not a defect.
