Description

The Lily is a 3-light chandelier built around scrolled bronze-patinated arms that curve outward from a central stem, each arm supporting a candle-style E14 socket. Smoked cut glass droplets hang from the arms and central column, catching and fragmenting light from the three bulbs (sold separately). The hand-applied bronze patina varies slightly across the metalwork, giving the fitting a lived-in aged finish rather than a uniform factory coating.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Lily provides ambient light through three 60W-maximum candle bulbs arranged in a 720mm-diameter spread. The drop is adjustable between 635mm and 975mm during installation, allowing the chandelier to sit 700-900mm above a dining table or at a higher level in a double-height entrance. The fitting can also be converted to a semi-flush fitting for lower ceilings by shortening the suspension chain to minimum drop.

The scrolled arms reference classical wrought-iron chandeliers but the scale and proportions suit contemporary interiors as comfortably as period rooms. The smoked glass droplets add weight and movement without the formality of full crystal dressing. The bronze patina finish pairs with warm-toned woods, terracotta, aged leather and stone surfaces, while the smoked glass tempers the warmth and allows the chandelier to work in cooler grey-based schemes.

What bulbs does the Lily take?

The chandelier takes three E14 small Edison screw candle bulbs, each rated up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a soft ambient glow that suits the bronze patina finish.

Can it be fitted in a room with a low ceiling?

Yes. The Lily can be converted to a semi-flush fitting by shortening the suspension chain to the minimum 635mm drop. This reduces the overall ceiling-to-base measurement and suits rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m while maintaining the same visual spread and light output.

How is the bronze patina applied?

The patina is hand-applied during manufacture, which means slight variation in tone and depth of finish between individual fittings. This is characteristic of the process and gives each chandelier a subtly different aged appearance rather than a uniform coating.

The Lily fits a standard UK ceiling rose with a threaded hook or ceiling plate. The suspension chain and cable are adjustable during installation to set the final drop height between 635mm and 975mm depending on the room.
