Description

The Lighthouse is a compact outdoor wall lantern with a textured black aluminium and steel frame wrapped around a clear seeded glass cylinder. The glass sits within a three-band cage structure that echoes the horizontal banding of coastal lighthouse lanterns, with the seeded texture in the glass creating a subtle sparkling effect when the bulb is lit. The fitting takes a single E27 bulb up to 60W, sold separately.

Designed for smaller exterior walls where a full-size lantern would overwhelm the space, the Lighthouse measures 292mm high with a 159mm projection from the wall, making it well-suited to porch entrances, balcony doorways, garage side doors and compact courtyard walls. The IP44 rating protects against rain and splashing water, so the lantern can be mounted in exposed positions as long as it is not subject to direct water jets or submersion.

The textured black finish on the aluminium frame is a powder-coated surface rather than a smooth gloss, which resists showing fingerprints and minor knocks during installation and use. The clear seeded glass diffuses the light from the bulb without heavily tinting it, so the colour temperature you choose (warm white, neutral, or daylight) remains visible. The wall plate behind the lantern is rectangular with a single fixing point at the top, allowing the fitting to be secured to standard outdoor electrical boxes.
