Description
The Ligero is a single pendant light with a 15cm clear glass globe finished with a moiré texture, suspended from a brass canopy on a black cord with a ribbed brass stem connector. The moiré pattern on the glass creates a rippled, water-like surface that refracts and diffuses light from the E27 bulb inside, casting subtle patterns onto nearby surfaces when lit.
Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands, hallways and bedside positions, the Ligero works as a single pendant or grouped in multiples across longer surfaces. The drop is adjustable between 46cm and 150cm on installation, allowing it to be set high in rooms with lower ceilings or dropped lower over a table in spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or more. The glass globe leaves the bulb visible, so the choice of lamp influences the overall aesthetic — a traditional filament bulb accentuates the retro styling, while a LED globe offers efficiency without compromising the look.
The brass fittings have a natural warm tone that pairs well with mid-century, contemporary and industrial-influenced interiors. The moiré texture on the glass is created during the moulding process, so each globe shows slight variation in the density and flow of the ripples. The 15cm diameter keeps the pendant compact enough for smaller tables and narrower hallways without losing presence. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor areas — not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor installation.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Ligero take?
The pendant takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose either a warm-white LED globe or a decorative filament-style LED to complement the moiré glass and brass fittings.
Is the pendant dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb you choose. If you fit a dimmable LED or halogen bulb and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch, the Ligero can be dimmed. The fitting itself does not restrict dimming.
Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?
The drop is set during installation by adjusting the cord length before fixing the canopy to the ceiling. Once installed, the height is fixed unless you remove the canopy and re-adjust the cord.
What does the moiré texture do to the light?
The rippled surface of the glass refracts and diffuses the light, creating a softer glow than a smooth clear glass shade would produce. When lit, the moiré pattern casts subtle ripple patterns onto nearby walls and ceilings.
