Description

The Lidia is a 40cm diameter pendant light with a matt black metal shade housing an integrated 12W 3000K LED module that delivers 1500 lumens of downward-directed light. The shade takes the form of a shallow cone or saucer profile, with a central opal diffuser visible beneath the rim that softens the LED output and prevents glare when the pendant is viewed from below.

Designed for positioning over dining tables, kitchen islands and breakfast bars, the Lidia sits 600-900mm above the surface depending on ceiling height and personal preference. The adjustable cable allows drop lengths from 400mm to 1800mm, accommodating ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. The black cylindrical canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and conceals the cable run. At 2.6kg the pendant needs secure ceiling fixing rather than a lightweight hook.

The matt black finish on the metal shade absorbs ambient light rather than reflecting it, keeping the focus on the warm 3000K glow emitted downward through the opal diffuser. This works well in monochrome, industrial and contemporary schemes where metalwork is kept to darker tones. The 40cm diameter provides enough coverage for a 4-6 seater dining table or a 900-1200mm kitchen island without dominating the space overhead. The non-dimmable LED runs at a fixed 12W, consuming approximately 1/5 the energy of a 60W incandescent equivalent.
