Description

The Lidia is a 40cm diameter pendant light with a shallow conical grey metal shade and an integrated 12W LED delivering 1500 lumens at 3000K. The shade sits on a short stem above a cylindrical ceiling rose, both finished in the same matt grey as the shade. The cable drop adjusts from 400mm to 1800mm, allowing the pendant to be raised or lowered to suit different ceiling heights and installation positions.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and low-ceiling hallways, the Lidia directs light downwards through the open bottom of the shade while the shallow profile keeps the fitting unobtrusive in rooms with 2.4m ceilings. The 1500lm output is sufficient to illuminate a 1.5-2m worktop or table section when positioned 700-800mm above the surface. Multiple Lidia pendants can be spaced 800-1000mm apart along longer islands or benches.

The matt grey finish on the metal shade absorbs rather than reflects ambient daylight, giving the fitting a low-profile presence until switched on. The underside of the shade is white, which reflects the 3000K LED output downwards without introducing a colour cast. The combined shade and LED assembly weighs 2.6kg and requires a ceiling fixing capable of supporting at least 5kg.

Frequently Asked

Is the Lidia dimmable?

No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed 12W output and does not support dimming. If dimming is required, consider alternative pendants with replaceable bulbs on dimmable circuits.

What height should it hang above a worktop or table?

For kitchen islands and worktops, position the shade 700-800mm above the surface. For dining tables, 750-850mm gives comfortable clearance without the fitting obstructing sightlines across the table.

Can multiple Lidia pendants be used on one island?

Yes. Space them 800-1000mm apart along the length of the island. Each pendant illuminates approximately 1.5-2m of worktop, so a 3m island typically takes two Lidia pendants, while a 4-5m island takes three.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 400mm minimum drop suits low ceilings from 2.4m upwards. The cable extends to 1800mm maximum, which works in rooms up to 3.2m high when the pendant is positioned 700-800mm above a surface.
