Description

The Lena is a dual-lit table lamp pairing a smoke-tinted mouth-blown glass base with a slate fabric shade. The base features a diagonal twist pattern in the glass, catching light from an internal 7W LED GU10 fitting (included) when switched on. The shade houses a separate E27 socket taking up to 60W (bulb not included), controlled independently via a 3-way rotary switch on the base.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and entrance halls needing layered lighting, the dual-lit system allows three lighting modes: base only for ambient glow through the smoke glass, shade only for task or reading light, or both together for full illumination. The 3-way switch sits on the lamp body just below the glass neck, accessible without reaching under the shade. The slate shade is made in the UK with a satin-smooth outer surface and a matt silver laminate lining that reflects light evenly downward and outward.

The smoke glass base stands 440mm tall on a 247mm-diameter circular footprint, with the shade adding a further 265mm to bring total height to 740mm. The shade measures 460mm across the bottom rim, making the lamp suitable for console tables, side tables and bedside surfaces at least 500mm wide. The polished nickel fittings at the top of the glass and the base of the shade provide contrast against the smoke tint and the grey fabric without introducing a third metallic tone.

Each glass base is individually mouth-blown, so the diagonal twist pattern and the depth of the smoke tint vary slightly between pieces. The twist runs at approximately 35-40 degrees from vertical, creating a spiral effect when the lamp is viewed from the side. When the base light is switched on, the internal LED casts warm 3000K light through the glass, turning the smoke tint into an amber-grey glow.
