The Lena is a 605mm table lamp combining a mouth-blown blue glass base with a duck egg blue satin fabric shade. The glass base features a twisted spiral cut pattern that catches light through the material, mounted on a polished nickel collar. A 3-way switch controls two independent E27 sockets: one inside the glass base and one inside the shade, allowing the base and shade to be lit separately or together.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables and reading positions in living rooms, the dual-lit function adapts the lamp to different use cases. Lighting only the glass base creates a low-level decorative glow suitable for evening ambiance or nightlight use. Lighting only the shade provides directed task light for reading or close work. Lighting both simultaneously gives maximum output across the full 605mm height. The 3-way switch sits on the cable run, accessible without reaching behind furniture.

The 350mm diameter shade is handmade in the UK from satin-finish fabric lined with matt silver laminate that diffuses light from the upper E27 socket while reflecting it back downwards. The duck egg blue tone coordinates with the blue glass base without matching it exactly, creating tonal variation between the two lit zones. The twisted spiral pattern in the glass base is cut by hand during the blowing process, so each base shows slight variation in the depth and angle of the spiral. At 210mm diameter the glass base provides a stable footprint on bedside tables and narrow console surfaces without requiring centring.

The lamp ships with a 7W 3000K GU10 LED bulb for the base socket. The shade socket accepts E27 bulbs up to 60W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose colour temperature and output to suit the room.
